The next set of the High Class Pack Sword and Shield named VMAX Climax (s8b) was officially revealed during the Champions League 2012 Kyoto stream, which was held this Sunday, October 3, 2021. This is the last 2021 set for Japan.

This Booster Box VMAX Climax is a product intended for collectors even if there will always be players interested in this type of set. Each pack contains 11 cards, like the Booster Box Tag Team GX All Star , instead of the usual five in a Japanese booster and will include a guaranteed V, VMAX, V-UNION card or a secret rare card.

As there is usually a difference between the released Pokémon TCG in Japan, Korea and China and those released in Europe. the rest of the world is unlikely to get VMAX Climax in this form. For example, Japan's Eevee Heroes cards were later released in French as part of the "Celestial Evolution" series.
