Pokémon 25th Anniversary Booster Box

The Official 25th Anniversary Pokémon Booster Box with 16 booster packs filled with holographic cards is coming to your home at the end of the year!

This 25th anniversary series contains 28 cards. All cards in the set are holo cards. You will be able to find the legendary Pokémon Palkia, Dialga, Zacian & Zamazenta as well as Mew.

The Japanese expansion which is releasing in October 2021 as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations and will include a number of brand new Pikachu cards as well as the return of older editions.

Three of Newly revealed Pikachu cards are remakes of iconic cards from the game's long history, like the Surfer Pikachu and Flying Pikachu promotional cards.

Pikachu V with boosted HP

Card health and attacks have also been updated to reflect the change in power of the card game over the years. For example, Surfer Pikachu has had its cost increased from two to three water energy, but now deals 150 damage instead of the original 30. Its health has also been increased by 4x from 50 HP to 200 HP.

Meanwhile, Flying Pikachu - who appears to be suspended by balloons - has had the damage of his Flying attack radically increased to 120, with his HP increasing to 190 from the previous 40.

Pikachu VMAX

The new Flying Pikachu and Surfing Pikachu are Pokémon V cards - hence increased power and health points. Both cards will also come with VMAX variants – based on the giant Pokémon Gigantamax and Dynamax in the recent Sword & Shield video games – with full card artwork and even crazier stats.
